File Preparation:
You have chosen to submit your assets digitally using music:nuvo's FTP service. To
prepare your files for upload, do the following...
- Recorded Music: Prepare your music files by creating MP3 files for each of the tracks on your
product. To do this you can use a digital music program (such as iTunes); tracks should
be ripped in at 160 kbps or 192 kbps to maintain quality. Be sure each track file clearly
indicates which track number it corresponds to. Remember to also submit a graphic for
recorded music products!
- Graphic: If you are setting up a recorded music or video product, you will need to have a digital
"coverart" graphic that corresponds to your product. Coverart files should be JPEG format at
72 dpi and at least 360x360 pixels in size. If you are simply setting up a graphic product
for sale, submit the graphic at the resolution you want customers to view the graphic at.
- Videos: If you are setting up a video product, submit your video as a Quicktime MOV file, encoded
at the resolution you want customers to view the video at.
- Ringtones: If you are setting up a ringtone product, submit an MP3 file for either the full song (or a
clip of the song you would like used as the ringer). music:nuvo will review the audio and
ensure it meets mobile standards.
- Custom Product: If you are setting up a custom product, submit the file in the format that you want
customers to download it in.
Asset Submission:
When you are ready to submit your assets click the "Upload Files" link below which will take you to music:nuvo's FTP dropbox.
Once you are inside the FTP, create a new folder for your product and place ALL files within that folder. Do not remove any
of the other files on the FTP. If you are a returning customer, a folder may exist for you already - feel free to place your
new assets in this folder.
If you have trouble using the link above, navigate your
FTP client or internet browser to ftp://www.musicnuvo.com.
For username enter "client" and for password enter "assets"
